The new Spirit of Tasmania ships

Spirit of Tasmania IV and V are scheduled to start passenger sailings between Devonport and Geelong on 31 October 2026. They are larger than the ships they replace, with more cabins, far more room for vehicles and caravans, pet friendly cabins, family and deluxe cabins, business recliners, and new dining and kids areas. School holidays, Christmas, Easter and long weekends are the busiest times on Bass Strait, and pet and family cabins are limited. If you have dates in mind, talk to us early so we can secure your sailing first and plan the rest of the trip around it.
